Paul Pastore, Town Board
I have had the honor and privilege of serving the residents of Guilderland for nearly ten (10) years; initially as an Assistant Town Attorney with the Town Planning Board and, more recently, as a Member of the Town Board since 2006.
Throughout my past decade of public service and my more than twenty (20) years of residency in the Town of Guilderland, I have recognized and appreciated both the diverse and unique attributes of Guilderland and those who reside here.
Guilderland is blessed and its greatest resource is its residents. As a Member of the Town Board, I have worked hard to preserve and to promote the quality of life for all Guilderland residents by:
- Advancing sound fiscal, planning and zoning principles
- Promoting greater recreational opportunities for our residents at the Town's Western Turnpike Golf course, DiCaprio Park and Tawasentha Park
- Committing to responsible, controlled growth as set forth in the recommendations and guidelines of the Town Comprehensive Plan, as I did during the Glassworks Village "smart growth" project
- Recognizing and improving public safety issues
- Supporting a policy of fiscal responsibility and a balanced budget
- Working to maintain and improve the highest level of municipal services
- Listening and responding to the concerns of all Guilderland residents
I very much look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve the residents and pledge to faithfully uphold my oath of office as a Member of the Guilderland Town Board. My experience, qualifications and values will continue to guide me to effectively serve the residents of Guilderland.
Thank you for your continued support.
Paul C. Pastore
