This site is for the use of everyone interested in learning more about the Town of Guilderland and the Guilderland Democratic Committee. 

As our Website continues to evolve, we hope that you will come to view it as one of your primary resources for learning many important things about the Town of Guilderland.  The Guilderland Democrats are a diverse and active group of Town residents who have dedicated themselves to promoting the open involvement of its members, as well as other Town residents in our political activities and efforts. 

Some of our Town Committee’s key platform issues include: controlling growth, protecting the quality of our neighborhoods, providing a high level of public safety, promoting fiscal responsibility in Town budgeting, and insuring that our Town’s well known high quality of life is maintained.
There are numerous ways that enrolled Guilderland voters can participate in the political process on the neighborhood, town, county, state and national levels. Our hope is to foster and promote increased voter involvement in the development of public policy; the development and passage of new, progressive legislation; as well as to increase levels of voter participation in every election - as a means of supporting the principles, policies and programs that we support and believe in.

We want to ensure that every Town resident and voter is fully informed about our current Town administration's accomplishments, future policy and program goals; as well as to become more familiar with our Party’s Candidates that are running for election, at all levels, this Fall.

We encourage all Guilderland residents to become involved as active participants in our Town Democratic Committee’s overall and ongoing campaign and community building efforts. 

The development of our Website is an example of one of our efforts to successfully reach these goals. 

Hopefully, our Website will provide a convenient point of access for anyone who would like to learn more about the Guilderland Democratic Committee, as well as our County, State and National Candidates who are seeking election this Fall; and if they choose, to become actively involved with us in achieving our Committee’s and Party’s goals.
